PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Divi-M Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat abdominal pain. It effectively reduces abdominal pain, bloating, discomfort, and cramps by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and gut. Moreover, it blocks specific chemical messengers that trigger pain and discomfort.

Take Divi-M Tablet with food, following the prescribed dosage and duration as advised by your doctor. The specific dose will depend on your condition and your response to the medication. Continue using this medicine for the duration recommended by your doctor. Prematurely stopping the treatment may lead to a recurrence of symptoms and worsen your condition. Inform your healthcare team about all other medications you are taking, as some may interact with or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects may include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dryness in the mouth, loss of appetite, feeling thirsty, and heartburn. These side effects are typically temporary and usually resolve over time. If you have any concerns about these side effects, promptly contact your doctor. This medicine may also cause dizziness and drowsiness, so avoid activities that require mental focus until you understand how it affects you. Refrain from consuming alcohol while taking this medicine, as it can intensify dizziness.

HOW TO USE DIVI-M TABLET

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Divi-M Tablet should be taken with food.

HOW DIVI-M TABLET WORKS

Divi-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Drotaverine and Mefenamic Acid, which relieves abdominal pain and cramps. Drotaverine is an anti-spasmodic medicine which relieves contractions (spasms) associated with smooth muscles in the abdomen. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause abdominal pain and inflammation (swelling).

WHAT IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE DIVI-M TABLET?

In the event of a missed dose of Divi-M Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. However, if your next scheduled dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule. Avoid taking a double dose to compensate for the missed one.
